• A Study  FOR The private health sector  IN Saudi Arabia:
This study was prepared to Regional Office of WHO For the Eastern Mediterranean/Cairo.(2009G.C.)
This study aims to explain the role of private sector in providing health services in Saudi Arabia.

Since the first oil boom in the seventies started in Saudi Arabia - untapped revenue accumulated as a result of high oil prices - in the work of social and economic development leading through a series of five-years plan of successive, and the Saudi government was keen, from the beginning, to support the private sector directly through interest-free loan with Easy terms of payment or indirectly through the provision of this sector with a modern infrastructure too.
Due to the high levels of public debt in Saudi Arabia  which associated with lower public spending and the impact on actual levels of economic growth, has turned in a later stage the government to refocus its policy towards increasing the role of the private sector in economic development in the country.
The health care system in Saudi Arabia, a national system, where the government is to provide such services through a number of governmental institutions, and at the same time, there is a growing role and increased participation by the private sector to provide health care services.
Finally, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has pursued a strategy to strengthen the role of the private sector in providing health services with the apparent support from the government because they are considered quality healthcare in the Kingdom of the basic components of health and prosperity of the Saudi society and the mainstay of economic growth.


 

• Economic feasibility study for the construction of medical Complexes, and one –day surgery centers in Riyadh: Prepared for One of the investors, the private sector(1430 H – 2009 G.C.)

This study has been included the following:
The project idea / target groups / domain service (provided by the project)
/ market study and the demographic fact / current health status in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia / project share of health market in Saudi Arabia in general and particularly in Riyadh / technical study (Aspects of construction, the number and costs of labor, equipment and medical equipment required, the shortcut menu for the prices of services) / financial study (revenue, costs and funding sources, financial and economic indicators for the project, the payback period, ROI, financial and economic analysis of the project).


 

• A Study for Preparation of administrative and financial rules and regulations for  Dr. / Abd al-Rahman Taha Bakhsh  Hospitals Group, (Jeddaj, 2009).

• A feasibility Study To establish a (30) beds - hospital for diseases and  surgery of the urinary tract, infertility, kidney disease and dialysis in Riyadh (1431 H -2010 G.C.)
This study included: market study (to identify the project, , workers in Riyadh, indicators of health status, estimate the size of the demand for activity of the hospital, share of the project from the market available, aspects of marketing for the project, the factors that affect the future of hospital services) / Technical Study )The location of the hospital, the foundations and concepts underlying the architectural design of the hospital, areas proposed to be allocated for different services, equipment and supplies necessary to run the hospital, automotive and transportation, expenses of incorporation, the timetable for the implementation of the first stage, estimate the size of the cadres of medical and non-medical required for the hospital, the salaries Employees, the proposed organizational structure / financial study /the services expected of the hospital, estimate the size of the projected income, bed capacity of the proposed project, rates of projected operating, labor required for the management, operation and maintenance, the investment costs of the project, funding sources and the size of investment, operating costs, financial and economic indicators for the project  / financial analysis, budget / average prices of some services provided by the hospital / recovery period and the expected return on investment.


 

• A feasibility study of a project aims to Establish a hospital in the northern city of Jeddah(1431 H- 2010 G.C)
included in this study: the numbers of the population and annual population growth rate for Saudis and non-Saudis in the Kingdom and Jeddah Region / current status of health services and the role of the health sector (the Kingdom in general and particularly in Jeddah) / marketing study (the size of the demand for health services, the display size of the family in the Kingdom, Display size of the family in Jeddah, the present and future demand on the family in Jeddah, the size of the demand for outpatient and emergency admissions at hospitals in both governmental and private sectors in the Kingdom, the display size to health services, factors affecting the demand for medical service / technical study ,Site, buildings, workforce, salaries, numbers of patients and inpatients, charges of health services / study the financial and economic investment costs of the project, estimate the expenses of incorporation, the operational costs of the project, estimated income of the project, indicators of profitability of the project / extension detailed hardware and equipment necessary for hospital .

 


 

 

• Feasibility study for the construction of Applied Health Sciences Faculty in Mecca (1431 H -2010 G.C.)
included in this study: the idea for the project / student Intended / main objectives of the college / justification for establishing the faculty / stages of inception/ study the market (its objectives, markets, health sector, the status of the disciplines proposed, the request to the categories of medical assistance, nursing, marketing strategy, Tuition fees) / technical study fixed assets, cost estimate fixed capital and annual operating / Financial Analysis ,revenues, costs, gross and net earnings, average earnings, financial ratios, sensitivity analysis / Economic Analysis (value-added and resource allocation, income distribution, Environmental impacts).
